Sun Microsystems discontinued their internal support forum for Cobalt Networks appliance servers in April 2006 and this list is intended to provide an alternative place to discuss hardware and software issues (including alternative operating systems) from a server administration and user perspective. |  |
| Sun Microsystems acquired Cobalt Networks in 2000 and continued developing new products in the line until about 2004. The pre-Sun products (ie. Raq-1 and 2, and the Qube-1 and 2) were all based around embedded MIPS processors, however later products (Raq-3, Qube-3 and up) were based around embedded x86 processors. | ||
