Welcome to
Craig's Saab 99 Page!

Based in Sydney, Australia

Saab 99's were Saab's innovative and stylish model which first appeared in 1969, and continued to be produced until 1984, by which time C900 production had been going for five years (C900's were produced from 1979 to 1993).

Saab introduced many safety features with the 99's which other car makers scrambled to copy, and like most things Saab has traditionally done, 99's led the way of safety-conscious automotive design for well over 10 years.

Saab 99's were also the centre-piece of Saab's development of turbo-charging for mid-sized cars. 99 turbo's were well-proven in rallying during the 1970's and to this day plenty of enthusiasts still rally Saab 99's.

While you're here, you may like to read an incredible but true story about a Sandwalls Bayerskt Fatol Swedish Beer Can which a Saab 99 owner found in his car after driving it for 15 years! He kept the beer can, top of the gear shift knob, and the 'Saab 99' badge displayed in a cabinet for the next 20 years and finally decided to list the beer can on Ebay in June 2007. Makes for an incredibly story alright!
