Trackfast with train # 3175 AA-schedule 'SuperFreighter' bound for
Melbourne. My 'castro' jacket hangs behind the observers chair and my
regular driver for most of the time I worked at DELEC - George Wilson - is
watching from the drivers chair. We worked the train to Goulburn then headed
for the barracks for a good night's sleep! George was a highly-skilled and
respected driver and it was an immeasurable privilege to have spent the best
part of four years learning under his keen guidance. George started work on
the railways in 1957 and retired in 2000.

model railway enthusiast.
